It is my honor to give Mr. Paul Black my highest recommendation to serve as the next La Plata County Commissioner. Paul is a sincere husband, father and business owner who cares about the long term economic and humanitarian success of La Plata County.
Paul brings a wealth of experience and dedication to making peoples lives better in the county. This comes from service on several local boards that serve the community and owning businesses that bring economic vitality to our region as a whole. His current community service improves the quality of life for individuals and families in our county.
Please consider that La Plata County needs a diverse voice on the County commission. We need strong representation for rural families and those in the thriving communities of Bayfield, Ignacio and Red Mesa, not just in the city of Durango and the North county. At this time half the county goes unrepresented and feel that they have no voice in County governance.
The people of the County also deserve diversity of thought and problem solving. At this time the County Commissioners vote the same way on every issue brought before them. Diversity of thought on the commission makes our community stronger.
Paul Black will be a successful commissioner because he will bring thoughtful change to the choking regulation that stifles peoples ability to get ahead. He will also bring diversity of thought and compassion for individuals and families in La Plata county. He will be a commissioner for all and not for just a few.
